Last week an old friend called Wesley Bridgeman called asking about my art. He asked about me doing a couple of paintings of him, his wife Lucy and their son Louis from their recent wedding. I said sure, choose the pictures and Email them to me.

A few hours later, his WIFE randomly messaged me on Facebook asking about my art also. I said, “Wait, does Wesley know about this?” Lucy said that Wesley had no idea and that she wanted a painting of Wesley and Louis as a present for Father’s Day. An amazing idea for a present if I don’t say so myself.
Wesley has seen the painting and loves it. I woke up to a text from Wesley saying he was all “choked up” when he saw it. On the Youtube time-lapse video, Lucy left a sweet comment,
“Thank you so much Albie. People tell me that Louis looks the image of Wes and I can't see it at all, so I wondered if your interpretation of them would be how I see my boys and it is just perfect. A beautiful memory of a wonderful bond between father & son to last us and Louis forever! You have an amazing gift. Lucy”
That’s why I love what I do and makes it all worthwhile.
