Tee Jay Akay Painting

In 1987, the ALL STARS BOXING GYM produced their first British Champion, Tee Jay Akay.

Tee Jay, son of head coach and owner (Mr. Akay) of the All Stars was a former Olympian in the 1984 Olympics losing to the living legend, Evander Holyfield.

The last boxing painting I did was of the new British Light-welterweight Champion, Ashley Theophane so when I got asked to do one of Tee Jay, it was a complete honour to.

Sadly Tee Jay is no longer with us but his memory and presence is forever at the gym.

A champion inside and outside the ring, this painting is for Tee Jay, the Akay family, everyone at the All Stars and those who wish to become champions in whatever they choose to do in life.
